Cookie Policy

This English version is a translation of the original Spanish text, provided for the convenience of English-speaking users. In the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Spanish original shall prevail, as VQNDT operates under Spanish law.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. They are used to make the site work correctly, to remember your preferences, or, in the case of third-party cookies, to gather information about your browsing for statistical or advertising purposes. This policy also covers other technologies for storing and retrieving data on your device (such as browser localStorage), which are subject to the same rules as cookies (Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE).
2. Cookies and storage used by this website
vqndt.com uses a technical local storage item, necessary for the cookie banner itself to work and exempt from the duty of consent under Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE, as it is strictly necessary to remember your choice about the use of cookies:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| vqndt_cookie_consent | First-party, technical local storage (localStorage) | Remembers your choice about the use of cookies on this website. | Up to 24 months, or until you clear your browser's browsing data. After that, or if you change your choice, we will ask for your consent again. |
| vqndt_lang | First-party, technical cookie | Remembers the language you have chosen (Spanish or English) so we can show you the site in that language on future visits, instead of detecting it again each time. | 12 months |
In addition, if you accept analytics cookies in the banner, this site uses Google Tag Manager to enable Google Analytics 4, which installs the following third-party cookies:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Third-party analytics (Google) | Distinguishes users to build statistics on how the site is used. | 13 months |
| _ga_<property ID> | Third-party analytics (Google) | Maintains the Google Analytics 4 session state for that user. | 13 months |
These cookies are only installed if you accept the "analytics" category in the cookie banner; if you decline it, Google Tag Manager is never triggered and none of these cookies are installed. Google processes the data collected by Analytics in accordance with its own privacy policy. If we add any other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this page with the details of each one before activating them.
The site also uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 on the contact form, to protect it against automated submissions (spam/bots). Google may set its own technical/security cookies in your browser and process your IP address and your interaction with the page in accordance with Google's privacy policy. As this is a security use directly tied to submitting the form, it is exempt from the duty of prior consent (Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE), but we mention it here for transparency.
3. How to manage your preferences
The first time you visit the site, the cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies with equal ease and visibility for both options. You can change your choice at any time, just as easily, by reopening your preferences from this button:
4. How to disable cookies from your browser
In addition to the options above, you can delete or block cookies and local storage at any time from your browser's privacy settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.). Please note that disabling them may affect the website's correct operation, including its ability to remember your own cookie choice.
5. Further information
For more information on how we handle your personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.
