Leeb rebound hardness testers for metals
A solid, versatile mid-range option. Impact devices and probes with built-in calibration (CalTag): swap them without recalibrating.

Portable UCI hardness tester for metals
Measures using Ultrasonic Contact Impedance (UCI). A single model, with a choice of 10 N, 50 N or 98 N probe.
Leeb or UCI, depending on the part.
Both are non-destructive hardness tests, but they don't perform equally well on every part: the choice depends on size, mass and available surface, not just material.
In short: Leeb for large, heavy parts, even with a rough surface. UCI for small, thin parts or those with difficult access. The QH7 combines both methods in a single unit; the QH5 covers Leeb and the QH5 U covers UCI, depending on your main application.
