This English version is a translation of the original Spanish text, provided for the convenience of English-speaking users. In the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Spanish original shall prevail, as VQNDT operates under Spanish law and this policy has been reviewed against Spanish and EU data protection requirements in its original Spanish wording.

2. What data we collect and its source
Through this website's contact form we collect the following personal data, provided directly by you as the data subject:
- Full name
- Company (optional)
- Phone (optional)
- Country
- Product line you're interested in (optional)
- The content of the message you send us
3. Purpose of processing
We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry, to provide you with commercial or technical information about our products and, where applicable, to manage the business relationship arising from your request. We do not use your data for any purpose other than the one stated.
4. Legal basis
The legal basis for processing your data is your explicit consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR), given by checking the corresponding box and submitting this website's contact form. Fields marked as required in the form are necessary for us to handle your enquiry; if you do not provide them, we will not be able to respond. The remaining fields are optional and leaving them blank does not prevent you from submitting the form.
You may withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by writing to info@vqndt.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before that withdrawal.
5. Data retention
Your data will be kept for as long as there is a mutual interest in maintaining the business or advisory relationship, and in any case for the legally required periods. You may request its deletion at any time, as described in the rights section below.
6. Recipients and data processors
We do not transfer your data to third parties, except where legally required. To operate the website and manage email, we use hosting and email providers acting as data processors, under the corresponding data processing agreement as required by Article 28 GDPR.
If you later contract a service with us relating to your instrument (video-call demonstration, recalibration or repair), we will share with the manufacturer, DEMEQ (Argentina), only the identification and contact data strictly necessary to provide that service. Argentina benefits from an adequacy decision by the European Commission, so this transfer does not require additional safeguards. We do not send any data to the manufacturer as a result of simply submitting the contact form.
This site uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 integration to protect the contact form against automated submissions. As part of this security service, Google processes your IP address and your interaction with the page in accordance with its own privacy policy. The same applies to Google Tag Manager/Google Analytics 4, but only if you consent to the "analytics" category in the cookie banner (see our Cookie Policy for details of the cookies it installs). In both cases, Google acts as a processor or joint controller depending on the service, and any data it processes outside the European Economic Area is covered by the safeguards described in the international transfers section below.
7. International data transfers
VQNDT does not carry out international data transfers outside the European Economic Area (EEA), with the sole exception of the disclosure to the manufacturer described in section 6, which is directed to Argentina, a country covered by an adequacy decision from the European Commission. Should VQNDT use any technology provider (hosting, email or other) located outside the EEA in the future, VQNDT will ensure that such transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR (for example, standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission).
8. Automated decisions and profiling
VQNDT does not carry out automated decision-making or profiling using the personal data collected through this website. Every enquiry received is handled by a person.
9. Rights of data subjects
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability by writing to info@vqndt.com, enclosing a copy of a document proving your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you believe the processing of your data does not comply with applicable law.
10. Minors
This website is not aimed at persons under 14 years of age. If you are under that age, you must not provide us with personal data without the consent of your parent or legal guardian.
