The equipment is half the job.
Buying a measuring instrument is easy. Keeping it measuring accurately for years to come is the hard part. Here's what we do once the equipment is on your floor.
What we do once the equipment is yours.
Technical support for everyday use
Setup, calibration, probe selection, help interpreting results and the dmq DataCenter software. You're helped by someone who knows the equipment, not an anonymous ticket.
Periodic recalibration
We manage your equipment's periodic recalibration and return it to you, so your quality records stay valid.
Repair and technical service
We handle repairs, in and out of warranty, with a single point of contact from start to finish.
5-year warranty
A 5-year limited warranty on the electronic unit, when you register the equipment at www.demeq.com within the first year of purchase.
Response in under 24 hours
Technical and sales enquiries answered in under 24 working hours, by a real person.
Documentation for every piece of equipment
- Certificate of Conformity from the manufacturer, plus CE marking, included with every piece of equipment.
- Traceability certificate on request: mention it when you ask for your quote and we'll include it with the equipment.
- Manual and software: dmq DataCenter, at no cost.
How it works, step by step.
You deal only with us: tell us what you need, we send you a quote, you ship us the equipment and we return it with the work done.
1. You get in touch
Tell us what equipment you have and what you need: periodic recalibration, a specific repair or a check-up. We'll confirm the procedure and send you a quote with lead time and cost.
2. You send us the equipment
You ship the equipment to us. Shipping costs are your responsibility; we detail these before starting. Exception: if it's a statutory warranty claim for a genuine product defect (private buyer, within the first 3 years from delivery), shipping is free for you — see "Warranty" below.
3. We send it back
We return the equipment with the work done, under the agreed conditions, along with its documentation. For you, it's a single point of contact from start to finish.
Statutory warranty and manufacturer's warranty.
These are two different things, and the first doesn't depend on the second.
Statutory warranty (private buyers). If you buy as a private individual, Spanish law entitles you to a 3-year warranty from delivery on the entire equipment —including probes, transducers and other components— against manufacturing defects; it does not cover normal wear from use. It's free, shipping included, and doesn't depend on any registration. VQNDT, as the seller, is responsible for this warranty; it is not reduced or replaced by the manufacturer's commercial warranty.
Manufacturer's commercial warranty (DEMEQ). If you also register the equipment at www.demeq.com within the first year of purchase, the manufacturer extends its commercial warranty —limited to the electronic unit— to 5 years. You can check the rest of the terms directly at demeq.com.
